  • This was recommended to us by the guy at the Lewis & Clark Boathouse Museum. I'm so glad he told us about it. Very interesting!  more »

  • This very tiny historic site is a great little stop along the Lewis and Clark trail. Reenactors take you back to the early 1800s and let you visit the past. Although the historic site itself is small, St. Charles Main Street is entirely historic itself and quiet adorable. It is a great destination for a little history on the state of Missouri and a visit to quaint shops in an old world setting with cobblestone streets.
  • I went here when I was 9 and thought it was so cool. It is well taken care of and true to the period. Kids will learn some stuff. It also served as a post for goods.
  • Awesome for our photoshoot!
  • I definitely enjoyed my self.
  • Love the charm of old St. Charles
