4.7/5 based on 420+ reviews on the web
One of St. Augustine's oldest historical sites, Ximenez-Fatio House Musuem is the best preserved of the city's colonial buildings. The property was managed by a series of businesswomen who are also an important part of the area’s history. In fact, the house is also known as Ms. Fatio's House, referring to the woman who was manager when it was the only boarding house in town. Furnishings and decor recall both the 16th century, when an earlier structure stood on the site, and the 19th century, when the boarding house operated. Each room is carefully decorated with textiles, personal decor, and tools that make the house still feel lived in. Join a guided tour through the kitchen, washroom, and guest rooms. Tours take place throughout the day; reservations are not necessary. Put Ximenez-Fatio House Musuem at the forefront of your travel plans using our Saint Augustine holiday planner.
