  • We have been there dozens of times ourselves and with out of town guests. We never tire of going and learn something new about reptiles on every trip.
  • This place has been around for a long time and still does not disappoint. There is a lot of shade and a nice board walk that will give you a close look at the animals. Word of advice for those with se...  read more »
  • If there is a croc/gator on this planet, they have an example. Kids of all ages will be awed watching the young 'us eat. Fun place for the whole family
  • Fantastic animals that all seem to be in good health. Very educational with lots of programs that include live animals. Gives people a chance to see them up close in many different enviroments. The alligator lagoon and bird rookery is fantastic. It's like stepping into a whole different world.
  • The zip line course is great. The staff was very nice. I knew even the small course would be a challenge for me. I was able to do a lot more than I thought I could at my weight. Now I am excited to lose weight, work on upper body strength to take on the course again. The Zoo is beautiful and well thought out. There are beautiful and interesting things to look at in every corner.
  • This is a wonderful place to spend half a day learning about many interesting reptiles and some birds. I loved the way it was organised and the african drum music in the background as we walk around. The feeding shows are good. Reasonably priced. You get to take pictures with a snake and an alligator in head. That's so cool.
  • Cool, extensive exhibits. We were fortunate to see a feeding frenzy. The snack bar right after was ironic and pretty decent. Admission was half price because we are members of another zoo!
  • Think of all the crocodiles and alligators you can and it won't be near as many as they have here. They have 24 different kinds here and they are pretty cool. I had never heard alligators growl in unison pretty spooky. They have a crapload of birds -- no pun intended. They have a bunch of snakes and more birds. It's like bird, bird, bird, alligator, snake, turtle, etc. so if you like any or all of them you will be right at home. The alligators all seem well fed and some are fat like a hog and seem to sun themselves all the time. The place is huge. Way bigger than I expected it to be and there seems to be some construction. If you have time to kill this is a good way to do it while in St. Auggie and surrounding areas. I would not hesitate to go back. Bring all the camera equipment you have cause those dang birds are tough to photograph.
