  • I absolutely love going to this zoo. Small, but it is affordable and even as an adult I still could spend hours at this zoo. Many attractions.
  • Each season of the year this place blossoms!!! The gardens alone are worth the visit and the admission price. Very gently winding paths are in very good condition and I've seen very many people, young...  read more »
  • We stopped there on our way to Traverse City for a break to stretch our legs. The morning we stopped it had just finished raining so we had the zoo pretty much to ourselves. Just the perfect size for ...  read more »
  • I found a deal on Groupon and thought we'd suprise the kids before school started. We had a great time. This is the perfect place to take younger children because it's not huge and overwhelming. The train ride was my son's favorite and my daughter liked brushing the goats. Prices are very reasonable. We'll be back when you get the wolves!
  • Such am amazing place! Beautiful gardens everywhere, the animals all looked happy and healthy! The kangaroo exhibit was really cool, all the exhibits were! It only cost only $1 to ride a hand carved carousel and the train that rides around the park! For $5 entry you could NOT pick a better place to spend a few hours with the family!
  • Small but well laid out. Not a lot of exotic animals (like lions or elephants) but there are plenty interesting animals, many of which the kids can pet. There is a carousel and a train that can be ridden and playground and a large sand box that is made for fossil digging. My two kids loved it (ages 10 and 3). I'm sure we'll be going again.
  • Nice zoo. Very small but perfect for little kids. Not to overwhelming and very low key. Nice way to spend a couple of hours.
  • I've been coming here since I was a little girl.. It seems to never change.. really nice place to take little ones. They have some cool exhibits. The carousel and train rides are always fun too, u can buy a bracelet that allows for unlimited carousel and train rides.
