  • First decent day, get some fresh air here. It's a little slippery on the steps, so hold onto the rails. If you are lucky you will get a rainbow. My dog loved the walk outdoors someplace nice. If you h...  more »
  • Drove down here through lovely countryside to see the falls. Good parking. You walk down a wooden boardwalk and many steps to view the falls. Then back up to do a choice of trails. Ended up doing slig...  more »
  • Great place, but slippery due to being wet combined with leaves. Have to be careful. Way too many tourists here and most are very rude. The outhouse needs a new location or something, really stinks ba...  more »

  • The 1.5 mi loop around the falls is gorgeous. However, it does get a bit steep in areas so this is not a flat easy hike. Perfect for wearing out my dog though! The parking lot closest to the falls really fills up on nice weeks so plan accordingly. Either arrive early or park elsewhere and take a trail in.
  • A stunning waterfall and place of nature's beauty. Watch out for peak travel times, the amount of people will negate whatever peace or serenity you want from being in the woods.
  • Love walking the trails with the fam. I thought it was worth walking from Stanford House, but not everyone is going to feel that way. A trip to country maid ice cream nearby made up for that.
  • Always a family favorite. Great photo op. There are a few stair cases that are not handicap friendly.
  • Very beautiful place for a 45-minute family activity. Old fashioned boardwalk through a wooded area and observation decks.
