  • The Cathedral is a work of art and to sit in the pews and gaze at the stain glass windows is peaceful. So happy to say, they have been able to keep real candles to light.

  • Amazing building $34 million restoration. Opulence at its finest. Mass was nice too. Get a bulletin to follow along. No books in the pews. Had a new Priest, Mike "the younger". Bishop was out of town. New Priest was very good, personal, and insightful - even willing to be humorous. Stick around for the building tour after 9am Mass. Not Catholic so the tour was informative. Detailed tour is on Wednesday. Suggest you call to confirm times. Good website to get a feel of what to expect
  • The Cathedral if the Blessed Sacrament is a very serene and calm place. It is also very beautiful. For visitors to Sacramento, it is a very convenient walk away from the California State Capitol with lots of parking nearby.
  • I was baptized herein 1950. I was blown away with the amazing restored/renovated cathedral!!
  • A wonderful cathedral right in the middle of the city. Take time to admire the artwork of the stations of the cross and the architectural scheme. It's usually open and the staff is very friendly.
  • Born & raised in Sac been there many times It is beautiful beyond words.
