  • First time we've been back since they remodeled. Campsites were great with plenty of shade. Comfort stations were new and were some of the best we've seen. There are about 12 sites with full hookups. ...  read more »
  • My wife and I came here for the day. My wife went horse back riding and I fished. The park is very nice and we both had a great time.
  • We spent the labor day weekend there for a family reunion. We rented 4 cabins and a shelter. the cabins were very nice and made you feel like you were on a report property. The shelter was not stocked...  read more »
  • A regular on my list of hiking and camping. There is an amazing amount of things to do here. The cabins could use some maintenance but are overall safe. The site has lots and lots and LOTS of trails (both hiking and riding). The rental houses are also top quality. The staff and rangers are awesome and friendly. I've camped at several of the lake sides and loved the swimming. One of the best features is how close to stores it is meaning I can do a LOT and if I need something I can get it. The locals appreciate the site and have always been very welcoming.
  • This park is a beautiful state park in east Georgia. It has a beautiful lake, though it is not very deep. It is a great place to go camping, especially during the fall because of all of the leaves changing colors. There are a few fun hikes and lots of nature and wildlife to enjoy, especially during the spring! I would recommend this place and plan to spend a half to full day here or a couple of nights for cabin camping!
  • Ah what can I say, the park and staff were amazing. The cabin I rented for 3 days was clean and well kept. We were even provided with dishes. One of many state parks in Georgia I will be visiting.
  • Came out for a wedding at Camp Rutledge there. Nice place, no AC. Fans were helpful. Would be great for a family reunion in the spring or fall. They have cabins to stay in as well.
  • Gone to this park many times over many years. It is a good place to have family or church get to gathers. Many nice camping spots and hiking trails. There is a very nice golf course here as well.
