  • With the fame of this vineyard, we wanted to go visit and take advantage of it for their wines. After several emails about a visit, we are come to discover that this vineyard does not visit but offer only tasting. $ 50 us for 5 wines and a cut, that's a little high. You can find other vineyards with a much better quality-price ratio. In addition, the Interior of the tasting room is invaded by thousands of fruit flies. Search a bit more to get better!

  • Basically its just a tasting bar. But we loved the girl who poured for us. The entry into to the winery is gorgeous. And the best portapots!!
  • Not only were we subject to an enforced valet service, but equally a sniggering service manner. Without a reservation the hostess was unable to allocate a one tasting flight, despite the pricey tag of...  more »
  • What happened here? A change of venue, pricier tasting and new employees with no personality or depth in knowledge. The wine room and staff were so friendly and inviting before, now it's about cute, serving and $$. We thought it had a great family atmosphere before with excellent Caymus wines. It isn't so much the money, it's about the vibe and it's not there. Sad.
  • Great wine, VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. My wife and I visited here for their wine tasting because I am a Caymus fan. The service from the person behind the counter (Bill) who poured the wine was by far the worse service I have had. We were at the counter along with the other patrons for wine tasting and Bill just overlooked me as he was pouring the wine for the other people at the bar. At first I overlooked it thinking it was an accidental oversight or perhaps he was distracted....until it happened again! I had to wave at him in order for him to pour the wine. It is customary to educate you guests on the history and characteristics of the wine you are pouring but all Bill did was pour the wine and then he walked off to talk to other people, At this point I walked over to another section of the bar to continue the wine tasting serviced by a very friendly and informative woman ( whom I learned just started working there). The service from the woman is the ONLY reason I gave this place one star, otherwise it would does not even deserve a star. Needless to say I will never visit the vineyard nor recommend my friends and family to them as well. I hope their management sees this review so they can better train their staff on proper customer service.
  • My wife and I visited Caymus and felt like it was a very Pretentious place, they talked up the other brands they offered as if they were something great, when they were grocery / liquor store varietals with decent taste, but not over the top, the Caymus we sampled as part of the tasting was mediocre at best, it had a great fruit taste, but was not aged at all. I believe this winery is living off the reputation of the older better Caymus from the past. Not worth $50 for each tasting! On the upside, It was a very beautiful winery.
  • Fantastic wine, terrible tasting room experience. I was so eager to visit Caymus Vineyards during a vacation in Napa Valley. Unfortunately I was extremely disappointed with the tasting room and venue. The venue and seating area was extremely small, the staff was not unpleasant, but was definitely the most "stuck up" out of any of the vineyards we visited in Napa that week. Save yourself the time and trouble, purchase their wine elsewhere (the wine is still amazing!) and skip the tasting room. You won't be missing anything.
  • We had the best tasting experience at Caymus Vineyards! We had the pleasure of speaking to Jeff! He was a wealth of information and could not have represented Caymus any better! He truly is an asset to your company and we would return not only to indulge in your delicious wines but also to visit Jeff again! Your grounds are so lovely and they complemented your outstanding wines beautifully. We look forward to visiting again as you have joined our top 3 list! From Vancouver Canada!
