  • It is a nice hotel but it is far from downtown. It is by Ruidoso Downs where they run horses in the summer and have slots all year round. It was slightly overpriced but the rooms we looked at were nic...  read more »
  • the casino at inn of the Gods was beautiful very clean buffet was superb the golf course was amazing, gift shops Indian paintings ect..was great
  • Clean air, peaceful, trees, beautiful place. Lake was clear and clean, area secluded, good parking, great area to hike.
  • The worst place me and my family ever stayed!!! Bug's were in are room everything was dirty ,cobwebs every where the ceiling had big water stains the walls were falling apart. I don't even want to remember the smell that's how bad it was. As for the indoor pool i wouldn't let my dog swim in it . We couldn't pack fast enough to get out of there. Stay at you're own risk !!!!
  • Do not stay at the remada by Denny's! The hotel is disgusting they don't clean there rooms, they leave the breakfast out for days at a time and try to serve it to there customers, the pool is full of bacteria and the jacuzzi is filled with fungus! And the owners go through customs things when they are not in the rooms! And customer service sucks! And there's photo proof!
  • decision. Terrible! Worst hotel experience I've ever had. One star rating is one star too many! Rooms were grimy and run down, and the tub was dirty. Nonexistent "Breakfast", except for the waffle maker. I think the waffle mix was rancid and believe the waffles made several people in our group sick. I was told several times that the entire staff was brand new, and had only been there a week or two. No one on the phone, through many conversations, seemed to know anything or could make a decision There was only one employee seen on the entire ground floor in the morning. Watched several groups wait a long time for checkout, even though they repeatedly rang the service bell. We had to wait a half hour for coffee. No fruits and only one piece of cold meat? and another piece of "egg"? inside a covered cake tray. Steam tray was empty and not being used. Worst part was that I had been in contact with the hotel staff for seven days to make a two night reservation at a group rate. Our organization was having a seminar at this hotel. No one on staff, or the manager could confirm the seminar, the group rate or even bothered to call me back to follow up during that time. I was left hanging for a week! On arrival, and after discussion with the manager (who said he didn't know about our group seminar at their hotel until that day), I thought I had an agreement with the manager and had him initial a room invoice with the agreed on hand written group rate. Apparently that didn't count, and when I addressed the still high rate in the hotel computer the second day with the manager, (he didn't come in till noon) he informed me that I would be paying the full rate because he had gotten others in the group to do so. He also didn't want to hear about the dirty room or non breakfast. Said this was the first he'd heard of it, although I've since seen several recent reviews that express the same hotel experience from other travelers. On hearing this news it became clear to me that the management had been leading me on and always intended to charge me the standard "walk in" rate. I checked out immediately, and found accommodations elsewhere. This hotel management and owner are providing substandard facilities and services, paltry, unsafe meals, and unscrupulous business practices with predatory pricing. They have no idea what customer service is, and have only contempt for those that stumble through their doors. Enter at your own risk!
  • I come to Ruidoso to unwind and to get away from the intense heat of El Paso. Have stayed at various hotels and motels in the area. Decided to stay at The Ramada because I came with my mother 4 years ago and it was great. Clean, hallways and even the elevator smelled fresh. When I arrived here 2 days ago, the front desk person was very helpful but could not work the computer very well and was unable to print out a receipt because printer was not working. Hallways smell like heavy cigarette smoke. Carpets are nasty. Room was as clean as it could be. Extreme patchwork on the ceiling and the wallpaper was peeling on one of the walls. I opened the window to see the view and my window was really hazy and had multiple streaks of paint running down it. So much for the view. Tiles in the bathroom floor were loose. Had,a great full sized coffee maker but no coffee or sugar or anything related to coffee. Shower curtain stinks. Refrigerator would actually freeze my water and sodas. Swimming pool had sand and dirt on the bottom. No water in the exercise area. Breakfast sucks. I got there at 640 and the sausage and eggs were cold. No coffee. Petrified toast and pastries. It's gone to the dogs. Face it. It will amaze me if it stays open another year. I'm even afraid of getting mugged in the Hallways of this sorry excuse for a hotel. Not worth one cent I paid for my stay. Oh, don't ride in those death traps they call elevators. They shut down twice , trapping myself and others inside. Not good. Don't waste your money guys. Stay away from this crackhouse.
  • Was one of the worst hotels I have stayed at. When I walked in the front there was nobody behind the check in desk and the two ladies that were suppose to be working were sleeping on the couch. Bless there little hearts they have been up early in the morning because none of their cleaning crew showed up to clean the rooms so they had to get their hands dirty. Yeah right. What a load of bull. I do not recommend this hotel because of the poor service. The rooms were extremely hot but luckily the AC worked so that worked out. My father has diabetes and the refrigerator in the room did not work at all!!! Again the room was clean but as clean as it probably should've been. But thankfully I was there for only one night. I don't think I could stand the horrible smell of the hotel.
