  • Seriously if you live or visit Tennessee. Keep small children away from Rugby TN. Very weird and possibly dangerous people there. Some live there. Others just belong to the weird cult like following....  more

  • Best swimming hole around is here. Plus the quaint village. Be aware that this is a Thursday-Sunday spot as we discovered recently. Highly recommend a visit to this unique and beautiful place.
  • A hidden gem full of history and stories. If you are traveling through Tennessee, make time to visit this unique historic town, grab a cup of tea and soak in this Victorian village. Don't leave without visiting the library. It's magical.
  • I use a nice camera for pictures but included two random ones from my phone . Nice for what it is they have a very nice building with theater in it they don't own the whole town they own a few buildings yet one can tour two buildings they don't own as part of the tour not much for tourist trinkets in the area two little stores almost more like thrift stores than anything else pretty and picturesque took pictures by old active original Church and Library Apparently one can rent rooms to stay in one of their small houses. This is still an active Community you can drive around and see the historic houses.
  • Terrible place to visit. Very boring place. Poorly restored buildings. High price low quality food. Dangerous trails. The Director recently removed for stealing from the nonprofit. Better off going anywhere else.
  • Ws actually just drove around because it was closed. But you can drive around and see many of the buildings, from your vehicle. It's still delightful because you can see the maintenance and care, the grounds are kept clean and tidy. It's nice to know the past is valued here, so many other counties are for modernization and tear down what many would liked to see, visit. Instead, of just looking at pictures. I hope this little town survives the next 100 years.
