  • Went for an adventure today to Doane's falls. Very nice place to explore. However there are a few dangerous drops that are not guarded. Not a suitable place for small children.  more »
  • Wow, what a beautiful fall; it seems to go on forever. I would definitely recommend Doane's Fall as a destination location.  more »

  • Great place to check. Beautiful scenery. Not very crowded. Good walk. Can find parking at the front, not that big but good enough. Make sure you use good traction shoes is slippery up there.
  • Doane Falls is a remarkable series of waterfalls and a gem of the North Quabbin Region. There is parking access at the top and bottom of the trail that runs the length of the falls with handicap access at the bottom.
  • Doane's is a lovely place to visit. There are easy and moderate trails that run along the brook. The best time to view the falls is after a good rainstorm or early Spring when the snow is melting and the falls are roaring. It is highly advisable if you bring children to keep a close watch on them as there are dangerous rocky and cliff sections to these falls. Any and all defacing of the property is noticed by the wardens.. so be respectful and enjoy nature. There is another part of this collection of Falls that is on Falls Rd. This used to be a lovely drive over a wooden bridge, a few miles up the road there was a welcome/ description sign which is in disrepair and fallen over. Find that fallen down sign, a short moderate hike into the woods and you can view the falls. This has fallen into bad repair, the bridge is gone and the dirt road has not been maintained. I highly recommend only off road types of vehicles such as Jeeps etc horses and walking. It used to be so beautifully maintained down there but now nature has taken over, the road is severely washed out. Use caution when you go in there.
  • Easy access. Nice views. These are great falls. I am surprised more people don't visit.
  • Nice falls with easy access.
