  • Looks like a Round top shape rock. also in the area are wagon tracks that have been worn into the bed rock of the river from the wagon trains and cattle drives. Great to show the kids.  more »
  • small park next to I-35 (kind of impacts the ambiance)...great parking, good Brushy Creek access...great trail system...also next to Sam Bass Community Theater  more »
  • This is a neat little park. Despite being under I35 it is fairly quiet and there is an abundance of little wildlife critters hanging out. There is a nice playground, well maintained walking paths and ...  more »
  • It was a beautiful day outside. I have been coming to this park since I was a toddler and now I bring my kids here every once and awhile. The place is decently constructed and some of the playscapes are newer as far as parks go but they probably could afford a little attention from the city as some of it looks a little worn down. My kids and I had an adventure walking the trail along the creek and crossing the wooden bridge down to the Round Rock monument. Sightseeing was enjoyable and we spotted a few fish and egrets in the area. The environment seemed generally safe. There was some trash here and there but that was to be expected. All in all, a great afternoon in the park with my children.
  • I enjoy walking the park with my dog and for exercise. Some times I carry a bag with me to pick up some bottles or small trash because the park is so beautiful. I just wish they (the city) would clean the night lights. They give that evening stroll that special feeling ! After a good rain the Brushy Creek is so clean and clear you can see the different types of fish and turtles there are. Not to mention the different types of flowers and shrubs there are.
  • I freakin love this park. It has great history and the river is really nice to enjoy with a loved one. And it has a giant torpedo! You can't beat that!
  • It's very nice and peaceful here. Seems like an odd place to honor submariners of WWII though. So far inland and in a peaceful place when wars ate anything but peaceful. As a veteran submariner myself it's nice to see this.
  • Small park in round rock connects to the other side under freeway. Mostly clean. Good place to just sit and relax after a long ride in car.
