This is a really cool park! There is a wide oval grassy part in front of a large amphitheater for an audience to watch a concert or just to picnic or have little kids run around and play. There's also a nice little water are for hot summer days and then a typical playground for slightly older kids. Perfect place to spend an afternoon at, as there are also easily accessible walking trails. I saw a concert here and the sound system and seating were very good.
So quaint & relaxing. Lots of nooks & crannies to get lost in. Amazing area for kids to play. Super cheap concession stand - perfect for kids that can only come across $1 or $2 extra. Met some really nice folks and there's WIFI! left when they were setting up for the free movie, but what a great outdoor activity on a day as perfect (weather) as this one was. Highly recommend!
Beautiful well kept place from what I seen. It is rare to find a place like this when you Google a park nearby because we were traveling and this was closest. It did not disappoint.
The river is great on a nice hot day. The biggest problem is there is no parking and the cops are giving out tickets for parking where everyone used to park. I'm not sure how they expect more than 15 ppl to enjoy the river at a time
Riverside Sounds are always fun, a good atmosphere and excellent people-watching opportunities. The playgrounds themselves are good for small kids, and the sprayground is great when the weather is hot. A nice bonus is the viewing deck overlooking the river. Don't forget to check out the various sculptured provided by the Roswell Arts Fund.
