  • My son and I went last night. We enjoyed it. The last time we went my son was 4. now hes getting ready to turn 13. Great for kids and adults..
  • Lots to do for the whole family at the park. Rides for the young ones, the old ones and the in between! We spent about 4 hours walking around, riding the rides and enjoying the atmosphere! The kids in...  read more »
  • Family fun in For Oglethorpe! Lots of rides and games for the entire family. There is a train that circles the property and a chair lift that goes over the lake.
  • Cute small town amusement park. The water park was nice, safe, and well maintained. The amusement park side had lots of games to win prises, and the rides are carnival style. A great way to spend the day. Picnic lunches are permitted in the amusment park but not the water park. Baithing suits are not permitted to be worn outside of the water park. There are bathrooms and showers available to change inside the water park. Lockers are also available for a fee.
  • Lake Winnie and Soak Ya are great for a day of family fun. I have taken my family to this park many times. We have never had a bad experience. Great Prices too
  • For about 40 years we've went to lake winni, it's the same old song the teen workers are hateful not helpful. The rides are great for families. All in all its a cool place, sometimes good sometimes not so good. Will we continue to go YES. It's packed with memories and that's priceless.
  • N.Shores vs. Lake Winnie: Had fun! So much! Worth the out of town drive! Down for an encore next year. Family fun (91$-x2 adults/1baby under two) couldn't enjoy any rides because the baby is only about 36in(required 48in). ++ [[[Went to Nashville Shores for some "us"time..just adults( it was the best thing we've done this year! At NS there were so MANY WAterSLides, places to eat. ++ The lazy river wasn't impressive at a glance, compared to Lake Winnie, but all the water slide options makes this one a A+ and Winnie a B+! The WAVE POOL was the highlight of our first hour at NS(no wave pool at Winnie :-(...)++ Didn't try the food bc we are going to Joe's for dinner, but saw lots of ppl eating it. Food was reasonably priced, same as Winnie. ++LOCKER for 2 bags was only 15$(same as Winnie) ex: Gatorade 3.50, 5 wings 7.99, pers.pan pizza 8-9$). ++ Comfy, shaded, cabanas available for rental, we saw in passing. ++Purchased a GROUPON for 39$/2adults(vs 39-40$/adult).GREAT SAVINGS!!! Season passes avail. That include a locker rental, 1 meal & of course park entry. ++ There are also canoes, jet skis, paddle boats($$), a marina, etc. , zip lining (tree top adventure), RV parking, lake side cabins, etc (vs a theme&water park&paddle boats at Winnie). Never saw so many ATTRACTIONS. It's truly a resort!++ Parking is closeby also(9$ required vs FREE at Winnie). ++Hmm...I think that just about covers it! Grrrreat choice for family fun! You've gotta go! Really! ]]]
  • This is not the park to take your family if you have a son which is 41 1/2 inches tall!! The young teenagers who operate the rides actually pushed his hair down to say he can't ride even with Daddy! Make sure you read the dress code, you can walk around half naked but women you cannot get in water with shorts and T-shirts even if you are decent! If you are not going to let little ones ride and go on rides with parents the I feel you should not charge them $34!! I understand rules but if I had known these prior to going, I wouldn't have! If your child is over 48" and everyone in your party is wearing a bathing suit then this maybe the place for you.
