  • Whoever built this place is looking at getting the area good name as it is in the rough part of city. The idea seems to be working not well, do far.

  • I have used the park for everything from frisbee playing to softball games, to bar-b-ques! Plenty of parking and a very nice playground for younger kids!

  • There's not much shade to find if you're looking to picnic, or watch your kids on the playground. Homeless tents on your way to the River, but the 2 stars are for the locked outhouse restrooms. Did it satisfy our need to stop and eat? Yes. But prepare to hold it for the next rest area.
  • Thier is no bath rooms in fact thiers 6 acres of nothing but hot sun no shade or running water at all. Terrible circumstances just about left me in dirty shorts.the closest bathroom is a out house next to a locked bathroom at dog park down st and around corner something only a local would know .common parks dept build a proper bathroom even if the one was open its still not enough to accommodate all the acres and parking lot spots that could quite possible be full .
  • Nice small playground and short paved walking trail. Quite a few suspicious characters around the parking lot and the lower walking trail.
  • Very clean, well maintained park. Big open area of grass with ballpark and a kid playground. Secluded and by the river. Also, It's a short walk to the dog park (located at the boat ramp) a short distance down the road. Trail connects along river to each park area.
  • Very nice park, allows dogs on lease and has a nice field for playing. There is a nice paved trail for walking and is along the river. Very pretty. The area leading to it is a bit sketchy looking but seems okay. We did see a few homeless walking along the river so I wouldnt recommend coming at night. All and all, We enjoyed our time here!
