  • This is our fourth visit to the museum. New additions make return visits a must. We spend 2 - 2.5 hours and bring along new friends to enjoy. The addition of another space vehicle and a few more presi...  read more »

  • They have it all! And very nicely displayed. Much more than just cars! Lots of history. All ages enjoy it! Take your kids and show them the flint stone car And other movie cars! It's fun time.
  • This has to be one of the best museums of its type in the whole country...the outside of the place looks like an industrial building...looks are deceiving. I was expecting strictly an auto museum like the one in Volo, IL. I was more than pleasantly surprised at the tons of pop culture items on display here....not just cars. And the cars are ones of historic significance, not just examples of old cars. The place is big, and worth the trip. I'm planning on going again....there is just so much stuff to look at. I only found out about the museum through a pamphlet at an antique mall, so more advertising and a name change would really up the admissions. As others have said, this is a pretty well hidden gem.
  • This little museum is a hidden gem. Has lots of interesting artifacts. Fun to read facts and how the items came to be at the museum. From the wild west to space. From Lincoln to Obama this museum has little tidbits of history and interesting stories behind that history. We have been 2 times and will go again to look again at things we might have missed. Honestly when you go down the little road to get there and see the building you begin to wonder, but as soon as you go in the door you wonder how you haven't been here before. Great job of keeping our history alive and preserved.
  • This is a very nice car museum. This is located just north of Rockford IL. Standard adult admission is $15. The museum is CLOSED during the winter months. If you are into cars and have a day where you got nothing planned this is a good place to visit. The building is a large plan metal warehouse BUT it is loaded with different type of cars. There are movie cars, presidential cars, and different types of racing cars. If you are into cars this is a place that is worth the visit.
  • Great place for fascinating history artifacts and cars! Was pleasantly surprised when I walked in to find how well laid out the museum was. Tons of history displayed in a way that grabs your attention!
  • You have to love the passion of one person creating a place like Historic Auto Attractions. Buddy Holly's sunglasses were a highlight for me. Great collection of interesting things.
