  • The grounds are absolutely breathtaking. It’s the perfect location for a wedding. The tasting room is set up like a well-oiled machine. There are stations and you’ll be guided to one and made to feel ...  read more »
  • We have been case club members for several years. We always enjoy the Saturday when we drive up to Ronda to pick up our case. We like to pack a picnic and sit on the deck of the old tasting room. The ...  read more »
  • Visited in late September. It was a beautiful location and great wine. Very romantic. A couple hours from Raleigh near many other winieries.
  • Beautiful area, such gorgeous scenery. The wine tasting was very reasonably priced. Our wine pourer, Jesse, was knowledgable about the wines, the process, and answered all of our questions. Will definitely return. Very good vibes and happy about the fact you can bring your own food for a nice picnic.
  • Beautiful place to visit. Best time to Visit would be around Jun-end or July-August.They have a good wine tasting room with really knowledgeable and friendly employees . To my surprise they don't have a restaurant in this place , but some private vendor serves good Pizza's. Good place to spend 2-3 hrs max with family.
  • We have been visiting the winery for years - it has by far, one of the most beautiful vistas in the state. We've tried to like this place but we never feel comfortable. They seem to be high pressure and all about sales. $12 for a tasting is more than any other NC winery we have visited, not to mention the question of if we want to tip our tasting pourer on our way out the door. If you bring your own appetizers you have to picnic in a special set-a-side area. They are making some progress with their reds but are over priced. If I am going to pay $30 for a bottle of wine I'll get a Super Tuscan or Barolo. When we come up in future, we'll have our friends drop us off at the new winery next door. The view is just as breath-taking - friendlier staff, tastier wine and reasonably priced.
  • My husband and I became members a year ago or more. Wonderful wines! Awsome Four Seasons Wine Pairing Dinners! Staff very accommodating, helpful and friendly! Wonderful place to visit! Bring a picnic lunch or buy "nibbles" there, grab a glass of wine from their excellent wine list, go outside, sit on the covered deck or out on the beautiful patio. The view is incredible! The grounds are beautiful with walkways winding around the gardens towards the front of the villa! Driving into the villa reminds my husband and I of Italian vineyards/wineries we have visited in Italy and in northern California! Become a member, it's well worth it!
  • This is a beautiful place and the wine is good. We went there with friends to enjoy lunch on the patio to find that the menu shown on the website is for sandwiches, cheese, and spreads that are in a cooler in the corner of the tasting room. There was no restaurant there but we had a nice time eating our prepackaged food and drinking a bottle of their wine overlooking the vineyards. If we go back for a meal we will take our own picnic.
