  • Great visitors center and hiking trails for all levels of activity. They have a great modern visitor center with very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Check online for bird watching classes, eagle viewing tours, hikes, and other planned trips with the state park rangers. No admission costs. They also have a diversity multi use trail that allows horse back riding and mountain bikes.
  • This is a very nice park. The Visitors Center has a few nice displays and the bathrooms are very clean. I do like the trails connected with the Visitor Center, however it would be nice if the trails had a map with how long the trail is and where it goes at the beginning. Parking is great if you bring a bus or car pooling. If your by yourself, you'll have to park a ways from the building.
  • Great visitors center. Gift shop has many good books for Arkansas flora and fauna. Nice trails from easy walks to longer hikes.
  • Absolutely love all the history at the Van Winkle hollow area. This is a highly educational place and beautiful views of the lake and surrounding terrain. The whole conversation area is awesome for hiking, biking, and horse back riding.
  • Absolutely love it out here. Great trail for younger kids. Much beauty to learn about.
