  • We live adjacent to Hobbs so we try to get out there often. This shot is from the Pigeon Roost Trail. If you can get out here during the week, you often have the trails all to yourself !!
  • I have visited many state parks over the years. I have never seen one nicer than this one. First, the visitor's center is a work of art. There are exhibits, a meeting room and a large window along the...  more »
  • Beautiful place to visit with wonderful views and extremely nice facilities. Tours are given and they have planned events.
  • Hobbs State Park is a great place to enjoy the natural world. There are several hiking trails, including one which is handicap-accessible. Sinking Stream Trail and Van Winkle Trail are my favorites, as they are great for birding and wildflowers, and aren't too strenuous. I also enjoyed Shaddox Hollow Trail, and hope to be able to hike that trail again some day. The visitor's center is really nice and has programs and exhibits to suit most any nature lover.
  • Some of, if not the best single track walking/running/mountain biking trails in the state that form an approximately 21 mile loop when all taken together. Well maintained, smooth and flowing in the shade of big trees and an occasional view of Beaver lake. Excellent trail head areas and visitor's center.
  • Nestled in Hobbs State Park, the conservatory is clean ans welcoming. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They host a variety of nature centered events throughout the year.
  • Great place to get out in nature and also learn about Arkansas wildlife.
  • Awesome state park!! The visitors center is awesome!! Tons of great hiking and mountain biking. I recommend riding the little clifty loop counter clockwise.
