  • We drove this in June when there was still snow on the higher altitudes. Scenery was stunning. We drove the whole road but when we were almost through it, the ranger at the alpine visitor center...

  • At the moment, April 5, Trail Ridge Road is closed. Although they always anticipate opening it by Memorial Day, there is no guarantee! It can even open briefly, then need to be closed again if another storm blows in. As we say, "Only the weather gods know... and they ain't talking!" Other roads within the park are open.
  • I went here around over 20 times. Because very beautiful.
  • This road is incredible so many beautiful views and tons of animals!!
  • A beautiful and relaxing drive. I try to take Trail Ridge Road once a summer....missed last year, but not this year. Great views and walking areas.
  • I’ve been here many times as I literally live just up the road from Estes Park. It’s fantastic to drive Trail Ridge! The views are amazing. You are literally on top of the world!! The one thing I would recommend is to check weather and road conditions ahead of time. The mountain weather is ever changing.
