  • Hiking here is about 9-10 miles round trip. It is not for the faint of heart. The hike starts getting really tough just before Timberline Falls and getting to Sky Pond requires scaling the steep side ...  more »
  • One of my top five hikes. And we hike a lot! I see some folks saying this is an 8-mile hike. My trail info said 9.0 miles and my GPS confirmed that. The hike begins at the Glacier Gorge Trailhead on B...  more »
  • Since seeing Sky Pond requires an 8-mile round-trip hike, it's more about the journey than the destination. And the journey was fantastic! It starts off with the impressive Alberta Falls, peaceful for...  more »

  • No matter where you are, every view is a good one. The climb up Timberline Falls was a surprise, but it was the highlight of the whole hike. It was about twenty feet up, with plenty of handholds, but the water trickles made the rocks slick. Going up was easy. Down was the hard part. Totally feasible if you are careful. One of the best hikes I have ever done.
  • This was our 1st 10 mile hike for this season here! From climbing up the Timberline waterfalls to slipping in the snow on top of the mountain to the breathtaking views of Glacier Gorge, Alberta Falls, The Loch and Lake of Glass we experienced it all !! Definitely my most favorite hike so far !
  • By far my favorite hike it's strenuous but worth the effort. Amazing views on the way up.
  • Top 5 hike in the park. Quite strenuous. Timberline Falls, Lake of Glass, and Sky Pond are simply breathtaking.
