Relax in the sun or play in the surf at Texas' first Blue Wave Beach when you visit Rockport Beach. This spot boasts small waves and gentle surf, ideal for children. Because of its shallow waters, the beach is also a good location for kayaking and windsufing. Go fishing, or bring a picnic to have at the tables and covered cabanas, complete with small grills. The site also includes a playground area and bird sanctuary. Dogs are not allowed on the beach, but there is a dog-friendly area just outside the entrance. An entrance fee applies.
