  • Visited Motif No. 1 on an unusually warm winter day. The sunlight and colorful boats in the harbor added to its picturesque qualities! (Parking is much easier in the winter, too!)  more »

  • Where else can you tie your boat up to a huge block of granite and spend the night? The harbormasters are very helpful and couldn't be nicer. A very quiet protected Harbor with plenty of dining options within walking distance
  • I can only speak for the exterior of Motif #1 as I wasn't inside it. Quite simply, this building is truly the architectural gem of downtown Rockport! The path leading up to it was unobstructed. The building exterior is clearly maintained well even though it does look rustic (and rightfully so). It was an absolute gem to photograph!
  • If you're near Rockport, you have to come check out "Motif #1," then go to Roy Moore Lobster Co and eat some of the freshest lobster you'll ever have.
  • It's easy to see how this is such a popular spot for photos and painters. Always a different angle and lighting to capture.
  • Beautiful architecture to take the best photo!
