  • Came here for the Harissa Oil as it was served at Main Street Market on their avocado toast! It is a very good oil with a little heat. Great with fried eggs or drizzled over hard boiled eggs. Heard it...  read more »
  • Best olive oil & vinegar ever tried. Flavored & aged. Smooth, fresh. Was husband's idea for a gift for Mom. We brought home some too. Awesome with fresh garden lettuce & cukes.
  • The folks at Mount Battie Motel told us about this place and we are glad that we listened. This is an amazing place with a treasure trove of extra virgin oils and creative balsamic vinegar. I had no i...  read more »
  • My wife and I had an unpleasant experience here recently. The store sells some very good (and some not so good) olive oils and vinegars, some traditional and others infused with flavors like blueberry, vanilla, porcini, and herbs. The store has very aggressive sales people and a very odd store policy that requires you to make a large minimum purchase. We received an overly long introduction to all the products in the store from one saleswoman the moment we entered the shop. She then assured us she would let us sample some of their 30 or so specialty oils and vinegars at our leisure, but insisted that I could not carry a shopping bag from another store around the showroom with me. Before trying even a single taste of their balsamic vinegar, we were set upon by another saleswoman who had an even more aggressive marketing patter, urging that we mix oils and vinegars together to try flavor combinations. After finally getting some alone time--only because more customers came into the store--we settled on a bottle of truffle olive oil that was individually priced at $20. When we told one of the saleswomen we wanted to buy it she said, "can I interest you in finding two more bottles of something in the store, because we encourage our customers to buy at least three flavors." While the prices marked on some of their products reflected this, their truffle oil was clearly priced separately. We told her we were only interested in this one oil. She said, "well, it's sort of a store policy that we can't sell you an individual bottle like that." We left immediately. The pushy sales staff and inane store policies made us feel like this was a complete waste of our time. Some of their products are flavorful, but they are in no way unique or extraordinary.
