  • This place always has something new to look at and learn about. They are always having activities and events for young and old alike.
  • Fantastic! I'm a bit of a Chicago Snob, but this beat Chicago's children's museum by a mile! I took 5 grandchildren there and they all had a blast. Would definitely go back.
  • Very nice and interesting place to spend a day with kids. It has a lot of activities to engage kids with varying interests. Loved the day we spent there with my kids and my kids loved their time here.
  • This is worth the money! We came at 10:30 and left at two with out seeing everything. My kids loved everything, I loved the hands on learning. The Clifford exibit (traveling exibit) was amazing. The outdoor fort was the perfect end to the afternoon, mom got to sit and rest before the drive home.
  • We purchased a family ASTC membership with reciprocity to this museum. We live in Wisconsin and called ahead of time to be sure this museum participated and were assured that they did. When we arrived they told us that only 2 of the children were included and we would have to pay for the other children This was a frustrating situation because no one mentioned that only two children were covered With the ASTC membership We also feel this is false advertising because The website for the ASTC membership doesn't mention this and there is a poster in the Rockford's Discovery Children's museum that states families get in free with an ASTC membership pass. The poster should mention the limitations. Because families don't get in free with these memberships.
  • An excellent, well done children's science center. Spent the better part of a whole day there and still door not see everything. Most exhibits were geared around elementary aged kids, but are still accessible to both younger and older. There is also a dedicated toddler/preschool area.
