  • Great ride - maintained dirt road most of the trip - spectacular views - found the horses nearer the Green River Side - amazing! The horses move south during the winter and return to the Butte in the ...  more »
  • We drove this loop to see the famous wild horses. Until we came to the pilot Butte and saw not a single horse. Only a few prairie dogs were spotted. But then a group of seven horses were gone but too far to really admire appeared on the horizon. We drove towards Butte and back, to see whether the horses of the road approached. At this moment, galoppierten them from the Hill down towards road and crossed it under our noses, to stay on the left side of the road in a puddle. This allowed us to be able to observe, photograph, and film the wild horses in close proximity for a long time. For me, it was one of the highlights of our eventful journey across through the Western of United States. My recommendation: Patience can bring is worth it.
