  • Interesting for adults as well as children. From 100-year-old wooden toys to the latest video games. Fun for the whole family. Time flies and we spent 3 hours there, which we did not expect.  more »
  • One of the main reasons we came to Rochester was to visit this museum for our kids. We have been to many kids museums but this is one of the best out there. The museum is huge and has a wide...  more »

  • What an experience! My wife and I had so much fun. The nostalgia this place evokes is unlike anything you could possibly imagine. There's so much to do and so much to see. The pinball and video game arcades are absolutely amazing and play only costs a quarter per machine! The butterfly garden was as serene and beautiful as you could hope for. We went just the two of us, but we definitely plan to return and bring our three granddaughters.
  • It's great to see that there is an organization dedicated to preserving games. Game preservation is extremely important moving forward because it is a part of our history now and having an archive of games to learn from is important for future game designers. Also, preserves the games by allowing people to have fun and interact with the games. Essentially, it doesn't forget what makes games so unique which is their interactivity.
  • Amazing is the best word to describe this museum! It's not just for kids, either. My teenage son and I loved exploring the games and interacting with the displays. Just when we thought we'd seen it all, something else would catch our attention. If I'm ever in the area, I would definitely visit again.
  • I love the idea of a museum that is so interactive, especially for children. The supermarket is one of our favorite stops. There are areas for children to act and perform, dress up clothing, places to play with sounds, climbing areas, buttons to push, train rides, and library books you can actually check out. And my daughter loves the carousel. You can purchase food from Bill Gray's, Pizza Hut, or Subway during your visit. Next time I'd really like to check out the butterfly garden.
  • We brought our 12 & 3 year old boys here today & they love it. We have a membership because this place is great for rainy or cold winter days for something to do with the kids. We were there for 5 hours & didn't even go upstairs! It would take two days to see everything. Very interesting place.
