The Susan B. Anthony Museum & House is a learning center that shares the story of Susan B. Anthony's life and work through tours and programs at the modest home in the heart of Rochester, NY, that was the home base for the great reformer for 40 years and through an online presence. Now a National Historic Landmark, the House was the headquarters of the National American Woman Suffrage Association when Anthony was president. Susan B. Docents share the story of her courage and perseverance through tours from 11-5 every day but Monday and major holidays.

  • History... But in a semi rough neighborhood.
  • Very nice tour of Susan B. Anthony's home! Wonderful tour guide that informed me of many things I did not know about the suffragist movement.
  • One of the hightlights of my Rochester trip. Typical admission fee of $15 gets you admission to the house and a tour by one of the docents. They are friendly and very knowledgable. The house is not conpletely restored so sone rooms are.closed off to the public. Be aware they are closed on Mondays as most museums in the area. A parking lot is on property next to the visitor center.
  • Great stop for suffrage history.
  • Very knowledgeable staff, passionate about the history of Sue B.
