  • For a family, a season pass is a must. Its good for a year and it pays for itself in one or two visits. We usually pack a lunch and spend half a day at the zoo. Having grandchildren it's an easy way t...  more »
  • Today, my family and I went to the Seneca Park Zoo for the first time since we're new to Rochester and we had a wonderful time. Not many animals, but they were quite active even in the heat. We will d...  more »
  • The zoo is a smaller one in size but for the size, I was happy with the amount of animals and variety of animals. They had a large lion exhibit, which was neat. Granted, they were just lounging around...  more »

  • Everyone that works there was very nice. All questions about certain animals were answered by well informed keepers. I really appreciate Richard from security giving me a ride to the front when he noticed my friend trying to push me uphill in a wheelchair. Thank you everyone for a great experience and taking such good care of the animals.
  • Our kids know every inch of this zoo. Annual pass is a bargain! Lion exhibit is the star hands down. It has a great blend of educational opportunities, open play zones and Indoor outdoor exhibits for what ever weather central New York throws at you. Zoo brew has even hosted the occasional wedding. Our family thinks it's part of the character but you'll certainly hear comments about the grounds being a straight line that just abruptly stops as far away from parking as possible so you have to back track to go home. 2018 promises zebra and giraffe additions!
  • Excellent little zoo! We strolled leisurely through in about 3 hours. It's a great afternoon for out of towners like us!!
  • It was great, although I would love if the animals where all out and they did more. Otherwise it was a great experience and very family friendly.
  • This is a great gem for this area. I just purchased the membership so I'm excited to take my daughter now that she's getting more interested in things. I think there are plans for expansion. I hope so! I would like to see a Giraffe there.
