  • Staff was friendly and helpful. Loved the exhibits and looking at the turtles and snakes. My favorite was the replica of the T-Rex skull.

  • The naturalists are very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Because of their excellent help and advice I was able to take care of a Grey Tree Frog that ended up in my house last fall/winter. The frog tried hibernating in one of my potted plants.
  • Excellent, year round family fun center in Rochester, MN, offering hiking, cross country skiing, biking, nature observance, and more. Regular educational events and family fun activities; your younger children will love feeding the fish in the pond, or exploring the old artifacts, or attending some of the educational presentations.
  • Great trails for hiking, biking, and cross country skiing. Awesome nature center with giant fresh water aquarium with lots of local fish. Also great events year round. Love the cross country skiing events!
  • I found Jack-O'-Lantern mushroom around the park. The most beautiful part was that the mushroom is luminous in the dark, amazing ... . It is toxic but not fatal
  • Great place to take the kids for a few hours to hike, sightsee, visit the nature center, or attend a function, such as Fallfest.
