  • A beautiful Victorian cemetery in an easy to drive to area. Visited the graves of both Susan B. Anthony and Frederick Douglass; the path to both was well marked. Quiet place for contemplation. Come fo...  read more »
  • You have to visit the nicest graveyard around... night might be particularly interesting. By observing kind of place of course.

  • Beautiful cemetery with many people of American historical significance. A must visit especially in Spring & Fall
  • While it's in need of some serious TLC it is still a beautiful and peaceful place. My family and I loved walking through and enjoying the history of our home town, as well as visiting the family we have buried there. We hope someday the cemetery will have a well needed and well deserved makeover and refurbish the many broken down grave stones and clip back some of the overgrowth of trees and shrubbery. This local gem is too important to just let go of.
  • Gorgeous and historic. Besides Susan B and Freddie D, there are countless founders of early America.
  • :)) Probably the most gorgeous Cemetery in the World!!! There's steep little hills all over the N. & central parts & 4 Kettles: very rare big pits formed by Glaciers during the Ice Age! A beautiful algae covered pond w/ a rock tower in the middle. The most diverse color range of Autumn leaves in Monroe County or anywhere that I've ever seen; partly because of the huge variety of trees! w/ 350,000 gravesites; many are wonderful! So many great Angel statues!! + Susan B. Anthony, Frederick Douglas, Nathaniel Rochester, Jonathan Child, Bausch & Lomb, Gannett(founder of newspaper) etc.
  • Cool place to go
