  • Beautiful architecture. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We attended a card making class, which was lots of fun. Enjoyed the exhibits-especially "Art & Sole"
  • Enjoyed our visit this summer. Looking forward to seeing the traveling Weitzman shoe exhibit and the re-opening of Rosalie Shaftman gallery & display in December.
  • If you're into what passes for art today, then a trip might be worth it. Personally from the building itself to what was on display, it all seemed pretentious and cold.

  • Excellent museum and well worth a visit! I especially enjoyed seeing an installation in the main lobby (specifically the piece by Rachel Hayes). I hope you'll keep having art work in the main lobby, as it's nice to see as soon as you walk in. Also nice having tables and chairs in the main lobby. Keep up the good work!
  • We love the Art Adventure for our little girl. It is a wonderful place for her to explore and play with puppets, dress up, drawing and creating art.
  • Very nice .The Taubman Museum of Art, formerly the Art Museum of Western Virginia, is an art museum located in Downtown Roanoke, Virginia, United States, designed by architect Randall Stout.
  • I was so disappointed today when I had made plans to see the Norman Rockwell display and drove by to see that it was closed. I had checked the website before and saw that it was closed on Sunday and Monday so we planned for today but still closed. Very disappointing !! I'm not sure when the web page was updated or the reason for the closing, but I assure you I was not the only one wanting to go today as there was a crowd of people at the front door trying to figure out the same thing.
  • Small nice collection of art in Roanoke. Definitely worth visiting. Very friendly staff. You cannot sit on the floor though.
