  • Great way to spend an hour. The exhibits stay for too long. Not enough to look at. The building is gorgeous on the outside, and some of the art is worth taking a look at.
  • The design of this place is airy and current. It would be welcomed in any of the world's capital cities but a pleasantly unexpected addition to a modern diverse Roanoke. The exhibits I saw were not th...  read more »
  • We love to go to the Taubman every few months and check out the different artists and features! And it's free! Can't beat that for a family day!
  • Excellent museum and well worth a visit! I especially enjoyed seeing an installation in the main lobby (specifically the piece by Rachel Hayes). I hope you'll keep having art work in the main lobby, as it's nice to see as soon as you walk in. Also nice having tables and chairs in the main lobby. Keep up the good work!
  • I was so disappointed today when I had made plans to see the Norman Rockwell display and drove by to see that it was closed. I had checked the website before and saw that it was closed on Sunday and Monday so we planned for today but still closed. Very disappointing !! I'm not sure when the web page was updated or the reason for the closing, but I assure you I was not the only one wanting to go today as there was a crowd of people at the front door trying to figure out the same thing.
  • Small nice collection of art in Roanoke. Definitely worth visiting. Very friendly staff. You cannot sit on the floor though.
  • It's free, and can have really great shows that really use the space well. There have been a few shows that changed my perspective on art totally. The building is really neat. However, it's still small and can be hit or miss.
  • Complete waste of tax payers money. Just another way the city of Roanoke is trying to be something it is NOT! I am ashamed of this humiliating eyesore destroying our city. I have never been and will never go. TOTAL WASTE!
