Love the resort and that so many activities are right there , the view from our room was so peaceful looking at Mountains and lake rooms were clean and comfortable more »
Came for a conference and was delighted by the location, ambience, service and quiet of the rooms. They have an indoor/outdoor pool and it was a perfect temperature. One morning I swam under the barri... more »
Just a beautiful place. Good place to go and relax. Something for all ages. Staff very friendly. Would definitely go back. more »
My husband and I love coming here for the weekend. We have stayed several times and are never disappointed. Staff is great, we've never had a bad experience with any of our stays. It's a great relaxing weekend getaway!
Had a negative experience with their booking system but it was handled gracefully and to my satisfaction. If I were in the area I would definitely stay there again, but I wouldn't consider it a vacation destination. Accommodations are nicer and feel cleaner in the hotel than the cabins (the hiccup with reservations allowed me to sample both).
Nice rooms. Service good. Pool is nice open until 11pm
I attended a conference here. I got a really nice room and enjoyed the hiking trails. The food was good but I could tell it was prepared in large batches and kept warm for an extended period of time.
Very disappointed with New Years Eve Package, Still Water! Package cost $350, Poor event planning in the Pecan room no decorations, children allowed to attend with cash bar, Definitely not a news Years celebration. So we went to the bar to ring in New Year. We upgraded to lake view king room, well I have stayed with a Super 8 that's nicer...5 dirty spots on carpet, no fan or vent in bathroom, poor light in room, couch had a rip on the arm, no fitted sheet on bed, a flat sheet tuck in and a flat sheet on top of that one, bed shirt was wrinkled and didn't fit. Received email 2-3 days before New Years Eve asking if we like to extend our stay with 40% off night stay, should have been 75% off, on Sunday with a comedy show, since holiday fell over weekend thought why not, arrived at Chestnut room to find out children attending Comedy show with a cash bar, and was told show would adjust material due to the young children. Did speak with manager as we checked out about poor event planning for New Years Eve party and poor condition of lake view room. I won't return for any function going on at yhis property. This is why it got a 1 = poor rating. I will say staff was nice and food at Still Waters Restaurant and Muskies bar was good.
