  • Great spread out park with a little park. Great view of Roanoke in the valley below. The star is pretty cool too.
  • Excellent place to take hikes, visit the zoo and the Mill Mountain Star. You can also take in breath taking views of the Roanoke Valley and surrounding mountains.
  • Decent walking and mini-hike trails. Discovery Center is small but has some interesting displays: two live snakes, a turtle, a beehive, and some touch-and-feel displays. The view of the valley and Roanoke/Salem is great. The Star is... well, just a big star.
  • Great Views most of the year. Quiet enough to always enjoy. Parking has improved over the years.
  • Small zoo but still fun. Views are amazing.
