  • Awesome course, can definitely tell why it's so highly rated. Challenging shots from the tee boxes and the green approaches. Lots of cool views to experiance also. Food inside the clubhouse is decent. I heard the jalapeƱo chicken salad kicks butt!
  • Amazing course with nice new GPS carts but rude staff in the pro shop who looks down on you as if your low class or don't know how to play golf. I sent a letter to the management in regard to their unprofessionalism but never got a response. I think that pretty much answers the question since it all starts with the leadership and works its way down. Sad to see such a great course with a unequally yoked staff. They would have received 5 stars otherwise.
  • Beautiful course in good condition. Very challenging. Well-run facility with nice staff.
  • Played Oak Quarry yesterday. We were late but the staff got us out right away. The foursome on the first tee let us play through since we just a twosome. Like the new carts. The GPS is first-rate however, there is one piece of info missing, at least on our GPS, the position of other carts around you. Since much of Oak Quarry is not flat, being able to see others carts on the GPS would be helpful. Other hilly courses have that. The course was in great condition overall, with one big exception. The bunkers were horrible. Only a couple of them, and I landed in quite a few yesterday, had any loose sand in them. Most we so hard, even a hard swing would only mar the surface. My soft spikes did not disturb the sand, and I am not a light guy. I can understand the lack of attention to bunkers in some lesser courses, but not here. The bunkers need lots of tending, and more sand.
  • This golf course has won many awards and they deserve every one of them. Number 14 is perhaps the prettiest hole in the Southland, and one of the prettiest anywhere. A beautiful, downhill par 3 guarded by bunkers, a lake and one of the most gorgeous backdrops you have ever seen. Many other holes are superb, too. Customer service is always A+ and the price is great considering the amenities and quality of the golf course. This course is not to be missed if you are in the Southland. You will not be disappointed.
