  • This place is much bigger than you would expect. I didn't count the exact number, but it seems like there are at least 50 aircraft here. They've been open for about 23 years, and have acquired quite a collection. They got air craft from other WW2 all the way to current. Including an SR-71 Blackbird. While you can't climb into any of the planes, they do have a few displays of cockpits and navigation stations you can interact with. There's even a NASA exhibit that has a couple flight simulators running. Outside there's several jet engines on display. The volunteers have a wealth of knowledge, as several are veterans themselves. If you take the time they may even tell you some of their own experiences. We met a great man by the name of Doug that took the time to tell us about his time as crew on one of the tanker aircraft they have on display. When you go, plan on spending several hours here.
  • We loved the museum, but WATCH OUT! We went with a big group of family, and two of our cars got broken into before we had even gone into the museum. (We were standing outside of the museum looking at the memorials, and somehow didn't hear or notice anything until it was too late.) The museum is awesome and the employees were so so helpful and kind, but make sure to not leave valuables in your car. It sounded like car break-ins are a common occurrence here.
  • Great place, bigger than expected. Get ready to spend an afternoon at the the museum. My grandson loved it.
  • great museum to go. The staff is really helpful. The information and displays are really nice. It one of the really nice places in Riverside CA and I wish to there again.
  • If you love planes you have to come here. A lot of different fighters and Bombers. But please, don't miss the dog Memorial at the entrance.
