  • Loved this place! Took my son camping. The camp sites are good size and the lake is nice. Beautiful hiking around the are. Staff was very friendly and store was stocked with reasonably priced necessity.
  • Beautiful gem of a lake within the San Jacinto mountains. I went for my first time in late December, so the water was super cold. Parking was free and unmonitored when I went. Many amenities are available in the Summer and early Fall months, and practically empty during Winter. It was very easy to get to the bottom of the dam as well if you're into hiking. The solace and views are sure to keep me returning.
  • Nice lake, higher elevation so gets a bit cooler. Must pay to get in. They have overnight camping but we just went to fish for the day. Didn’t catch anything but had fun.
  • Love how relaxing it is. We frequently camp and fish. Dog friendly.
  • Most fun I've had in years. Manage to get there and there were no boats available but there was a kayak available and I took my daughter out for the first time on a kayak she had an absolute blast. Came back into the boat rentals and then they had a boat available and took her my wife and two kids out on the lake and it was my daughter's first experience fishing caught her first fish as well as I'd caught my first fish in about 20 years. beautiful sights friendly sociable people that work there. would highly recommend it to anybody that loves the outdoors and loves to have fun on the water.
