  • I live in MA and I can remember back in the early 60's my Mom took us up to NH to see a Shrine. I think this has to be the place. I had always thought it was called 'The Chapel in the Pines'. I could have sworn there was a small chapel that we went inside. .. and it seemed to me there was a woodsy almost winding road we drove up. I was about 9 or 10 yrs old at the time so memories can get embellished a bit. What I do know is as a young child I was truly amazed by it's beauty up there on the mountain! I want to go back so much before time runs out on me. Absolutely breathtaking! Is this the same place?
  • Was there for their last "FREE STAR GAZING" only. I just had major surgery on my foot, had a cast, & crutches. Because of being handicapped, & didnt know how long I'd have to walk with crutchrs in the dark. I arrived "Ten minutes early, & sat inside to warm up. There was a harp concert going on. After the concert was over, a man in a grey vest came over to me & asked me & my boyfriend for $40. I said why? His face had a rude look on it, & he said for the concert. I told him I was only there for the FREE star gazing, & came early cuz of being handicapped. He gave me an etremely ruder look with his hand out for the money, & embarrassed & humiliated us in front of everyone who was walking towards us now leaving!! My boyfriend & I were so emarrased we have him $40. ABUSE OF HANDICAPPED PEOPLE!! EMBARRASS & HUMILIATE HANDICAPPED PEOPLE??!!!! SO WRONG!!! THERE WAS A SIGN ON THE DOOR THAT SAID "COME IN!" THERE WAS NOT A SIGN THAT SAID IF U COME EARLY FOR STAR GAZING, U WILL BE CHARGED ENTIRE ANOUNT OF CONCERT. WE WOULD HAVE WAITED IN THE CAR!! HE WAS A TOTAL JERK TO BOTH OF US!!! NOT RIGHT!! NOT FAIR!! I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!
  • It's my first time there and I was deeply touched, it's inspiration to the true human spirit, and the sacrifice that the men and women made to in list in our armed Force's to keep us free from the tyrants of this world thanks to them,I will never forget
  • Spectacular views, beautiful place for someone to have their wedding.
  • Beautiful, peaceful, and calm place. Wonderful place for the whole family.
