  • I definitely recommend this museum. It has a broad overview of the war and it's impact locally. Be sure to take the tour of the White House. The guide was very knowledgeable and the house and furnishings are mostly restored originals.
  • The tours of the white house are great. The tour guides are knowledgeable, friendly, and achieve the incredibly difficult task of honestly understanding the confederacy. Without apologetics or moral grandstanding.
  • Excellent museum. The house is furnished almost entirely with original pieces.
  • We spent a long time in the museum and went on a tour of the White House of Confederacy. I appreciated the fact that they didn't white wash history.
  • Very interesting and informative. If you like history, you will enjoy your visit.
