  • A piece of our history that I am glad I got to see and put together with lessons from the history books. The White House should not be missed! It is lovely.
  • Very nice place. Good way to learn more about the losing side of the civil war, and understand how stupid racial prejudice is. It even lost a war. Very educational for kids. Very nice tour of the house. Great tour guide, very knowledgeable and patientious with our stupid questions hahaha
  • Very interesting perspective on Civil War history; told from the Confederate point-of-view. White House of the South is an interesting tour, not least because of the quality of the restoration work. The main issue is the historical mistakes that have caused the loss of some of the provenance of the artifacts on display. Year-by-year history of the war was interesting and pits everything else into perspective.
  • Took the kids for a homeschool field trip. What a hidden gem! We learned a lot and had a wonderful time.
  • This was very interesting. All of it. Hayden was our tour guide and he was great. Incredibly I formed and knowledgeable about Jefferson Davis and the tour of the Confederate White House. An interesting part of our history that I don't think as many people are aware of as they should be. I hope everyone finds a way to take a tour through this mansion. The museum was nothing special, just the same as any other Civil War museum. There aren't any notable artifacts that they have there that make it special. I was hoping they would have the bonnet they captured Jefferson Davis in, but no. :)
