  • Having first attended a race in 1997 I can say that the atmosphere at these events is electrified and it's easily the equivalent of going to a 3 day outdoor festival like Woodstock and thankfully with...  read more »
  • Richmond International Raceway made it a very enjoyable day considering the high temperatures. They really catered to the fans.
  • Love this place and a great place to see NASCAR close to home. Hotel are not far and some offer transportation to the track.
  • We were here for the third stop with Mini Takes The States. The venue was fine and the track was very fast, but they had unusually strict rules that didn't seem normal. Having now been to so many tracks, it is unusual (for example) that you can't have a pet (even on a leash) in the infield... They were the only track with this rule. As a venue, it is obviously one of the older circle tracks, so the facilities are starting to show their age, but it is all still fine. No other complaints.
  • The racing is good. Getting in and out are a nightmare. We spent 2 hours sitting in the parking lot behind the backstretch where it's a mile walk to the track. 8 cops standing in a group chatting and watching while 8 lanes of cars are jockeying to go out a single lane exit. Martinsville does it WAY better. Or you can leave the race early and miss the finish, but you get right out of the parking lot with no wait.
  • The people who work there are supper friendly and being handicap they offer golf cart rides. We did pay a whopping amount of money to be in the garage and pit area's while in the garage area it rained so hard we were wet clear to our unmentionables we stay that way for the entire day, it would have been nice to be allowed to have umbrellas like the staff. Other then that and the cost I LOVED IT. Was at the track April 2016
  • First row already elevated, so views are much better than other tracks. Multiple race lanes. Free parking available, but traffic after can back up quickly. Restrooms need a refreshing - still have troughs in the men's room
  • Nice clean facilities. One of my favorite race tracks. Free parking and great opportunities for tail gaiting. I go to both races every year
