Make your way down the tree-lined boulevard, where you will find monuments memorializing Virginian Confederate participants from the Civil War, as well as historical homes and churches. See monuments to Robert E. Lee, Jefferson Davis, J.E.B. Stuart, Matthew Fontaine Maury, and Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson as you make your way down the street. You will also find a monument to Arthur Ashe, an international tennis star from the town.
