  • This was our second visit in the past 3 years. My wife and I enjoy it so much. The lights were absolutely amazing. It truly captures the Christmas spirit.
  • We had our corporate holiday function and then went to the Garden Fest of lights. Staff was wonderful! Everyone that we passed was friendly, smiling and informative. The greenhouse was a favorite. Gia...  more »
  • Enjoy a walk in the gardens viewing the splendors of nature. Check out the house on the river which used to be the bicycle club house for Ginter. Enjoy lunch after your walk in the cafe.

  • Went here on a Friday afternoon to visit the butterfly house. You might need to make to trips if you want to visit the whole park. It was less crowded than Maymont. A section of the park is a children's play area. I enjoyed the rose garden which had flowers of all sizes and colors. You can stop into the gift shop without paying admission. Its a good place to buy garden decorations or other fun lawn decorations. Prices vary wildly depending on what you are looking at. We got a wind chime and it sounds beautiful. There is also unique, flower inspired jewelry.
  • This is a beautiful area. Spent almost two hours touring the grounds and I still feel like I haven't seen it all and that return visits are a must. We came out to see the LEGO sculptures that are currently being featured at the time of this review and they did not disappoint. In addition to being wonderful pieces of art, the Gardens provided educational information to accompany each sculpture. Our admission was free today to honor those who have been affected by some of the recent violence in our country which was a welcome gesture. If you're in the area you owe it to yourself to visit both to see some natural beauty and to learn about nature and conservation.
  • The marketing team is fantastic. They hosted a Pok√©mon event with Pokestops a little while back. I am a huge fan of the gardens themselves as well. Very beautiful and will cares for grounds. Great for a date or a walk with friends in the park
  • My family have been members for several years now and this is one of the greatest bargains in Richmond. If you have young children they will love the kids area. In addition to all the lovely foliage there is a library, dining, special events, a conservatory and lots of things to see and do. Love this place!
  • A wonderful way to spend an afternoon. Very spacious gardens, lots of room to walk and think to yourself, tons of opportunity for flower photography. However, perhaps due to the time of year we stopped in (early June), there seemed to be far less wildlife than I had expected to see, one or two butterflies outside, and only three different species of birds that I saw. Some turtles swimming around which was cool. Nice little water play area for kids on hot summer days which was a huge plus.
