  • If you love plants and flowers, you must put this on your list. The design of the walkways, the conservatory, and other buildings is stunning and relaxing. The admission price is very reasonable. Park...  read more »
  • It is clearly a beautiful place but a little disappointing possibly because f the time of the year. Monday very quite and lacked any atmosphere. Most of the plants ave gone into hibernation.
  • I've been to a conference at this place two years running and it's beautiful. The site is nice, the staff is nice and they always take good care of us. I only wish I had time to walk in the gardens. T...  read more »
  • This is a beautiful area. Spent almost two hours touring the grounds and I still feel like I haven't seen it all and that return visits are a must. We came out to see the LEGO sculptures that are currently being featured at the time of this review and they did not disappoint. In addition to being wonderful pieces of art, the Gardens provided educational information to accompany each sculpture. Our admission was free today to honor those who have been affected by some of the recent violence in our country which was a welcome gesture. If you're in the area you owe it to yourself to visit both to see some natural beauty and to learn about nature and conservation.
  • My family have been members for several years now and this is one of the greatest bargains in Richmond. If you have young children they will love the kids area. In addition to all the lovely foliage there is a library, dining, special events, a conservatory and lots of things to see and do. Love this place!
  • A wonderful way to spend an afternoon. Very spacious gardens, lots of room to walk and think to yourself, tons of opportunity for flower photography. However, perhaps due to the time of year we stopped in (early June), there seemed to be far less wildlife than I had expected to see, one or two butterflies outside, and only three different species of birds that I saw. Some turtles swimming around which was cool. Nice little water play area for kids on hot summer days which was a huge plus.
  • Awesome and breathtaking garden! So much fun with something new all the time! The butterflies are wonderful, and in winter the lights are always a great time. Plus there's lots of pokemon, stops and gyms!
  • We are members and the Gardens are wonderful. Year round, there is something to do! In the summer the children's garden is full of fun for kids. The winter Christmas lights are lovely. This is a great place to visit!
