  • Hardywood is one of my favorites when hitting the RIC micro scene. Never fails to impress. Family friendly environment with tap selections that should satisfy most pallets.  more »

  • Hardywood has by far the best stout beers that I have ever had. The type of stout varies seasonally (gingerbread, bourbon barreled, etc.). They often have parties to celebrate the releases of new beers. They always have a great 4th of July party. The Richmond Flying Squirrels baseball field is nearby the Hardywood brewery, so the brewery provides the perfect setting for a fantastic free fireworks viewing. The brewery also often has music on the weekends.
  • A Richmond standout and leader in the craft beer movement, so you gotta stop by to at least try their product. But that's not all, Hardywood does an excellent job of maintaining a steady variety of music and events to make it a destination of choice.
  • Impressive! They have various events going on at different times of the week. They have great tap options. High quality beer at very economical prices.
  • Wow! Came here as a last minute visit and got Urban fest. Awesome beer amazing time and great people. Can't wait to get back!
  • When you enjoy drinking special beers, you need to go to this brewery and take a tour. You'll get a souvenir tasting glass and can try three different brews during the tour. They'll tell mostly about the brewery and only little about the brewery process. The bar has a nice industrial atmosphere and there's live music being played regularly. There are many homemade brews on tap and canned you can try.
