  • Make sure you take the kids to the museum on Broad next to the Science Museum. Our grandkids are from Philly and love to go here every time they visit.
  • I took our 2-year-old granddaughter and her friend here and it was ideal for them. The stations were clean and well-stocked. Staff was helpful as we left and I didn't want to buy them toys; a worker g...  read more »
  • We took our two year old grand daughter to the Children's Museum in Chesterfield on a weekday to play and burn off some energy. It is fairly small, but there are a lot of things for a young child to p...  read more »
  • I was so disappointed with our visit yesterday to CMOR Chesterfield. The grocery area was completely unstocked. I understand children move the items around the musuem, however the staff should do periodic checks and take the time to gather the items (rather than chatting at the counter). The water station with the spiral was broken and the other station had 3 slimy cups the children could use. The "sandbox" area with the rubber bits was depleted; kids were scraping the floor to fill a bucket. The monster truck ride was gone. The dress up clothes were scattered throughout the musuem. And the art section was a mess. The gift shop area was pristine, which shows me what is important to the management. This was a special trip for our family, and I wish we had chosen a different outing. Will not be returning.
  • Great place to bring your family. Super crowded on weekends, almost like a zoo. Weekdays are much quieter and nicer for the parents. Lots of activities including making art using paints, colored pencils, etc., water activities both indoor and outdoor (in spring and summer), slides, caves, sandboxes and more. Tons of events during the summer as well, and the museum is open until 7PM in the summer.
  • Disappointed, will not visit again anytime soon. The place is dirt and looks unkempt (painting section is the only one I'd say is worth visiting). There is dirt and trash all over as you enter the place. Construction wise the place is done by a an amateur contractor. See pics.
  • My 3 year old and 1 year old both had a great time! It was also really hot that day so we enjoyed the shade while the kids played on the sprayground. Very cute place.
  • I absolutely love all three of the children museum locations. Best thing I ever did was buy the membership! The museums NEVER get old and my daughter and I love it!
