  • This drew my attention as soon as I hit town...definitely worth a look. I am sure you could self guide along the pathways but the segway trip took this area in and shared stories along the way.
  • We took some friends who were visiting from out of the country downtown and walked all over. Canal Walk is easy and interesting if you know some of the history behind it.
  • Not much noise and no traffic so going for a walk or run is enjoyable for the most part. If you're not familiar with the area, signage is somewhat lacking to understand how to go further north after t...  more »

  • So far, my experience with Canal Walk has been great! The leasing agents are very helpful and courteous. The property is nice and the all inclusive rent is convenient. Moreover, the maintenance teams has responded quickly to all maintenance requests that I've submitted. I highly recommend this property!
  • We moved here from Chicago and we have found the staff in the leasing office to be pleasant and helpful. The maintenance team is responsive and kind to us. We occasional find individuals parked in our assigned spot, but for the most part everyone has been nice. We firmly believe that if you are respectful and are good neighbors, then generally everything works out.
  • I have lived at this apartment complex for a little over six months now and I have to say it isn't bad. My apartment has stainless steel appliances, a fireplace, and 3 large windows that let in a lot of natural sunlight. The best part of my apartment would have to be all of the storage space! I only have a 1 bedroom but it comes with 3 closets and loft storage. I don't even have enough clothes to fill up all the closets! There is just one thing that I dislike about this place and that is the construction noise that comes from the street. Its not a huge deal since I work during the day while they are working but there are the occasional times where I take off a weekday and the noise that comes from there is unbearable! on a side note, it forces me to get up and run errands instead of wasting my whole day doing nothing! Not to mention when I talked to the leasing office about how the construction crew started too early in the morning, they immediately contacted the construction crew and asked them to start with the noisy task later in the day which made me very happy!
  • Do not rent here. Don't believe me? Ask anyone who lives there now and they all say they're moving, or moving pretty soon. Don't make the same mistake we did.
  • Nice people, nice area, nice living place.
