  • The views are iconic Bay Area views. One of the nice things is that it's easy to get to. Seems to be dog friendly in most areas.

  • I use to drive to Mission Peak every weekend based on the intensity and thrill of that hike. All until I discovered Wildcat with an equal intensity plus thrill fulfilled here. I enjoy how you can customize your outdoor gym on this trail. There are many entrances and routes to take. Whether hiking, cycling, walking, running…it’s a trail for all ages. Plenty of rest stops, gorgeous views, inclines if you’re looking for them. You’ll encounter wildlife of cows, horses, hares, deer, birds, snakes, coyotes and goats too. It’s a new adventure every time.
  • Great Park! Several trails up, around and all over the hills. Picnic and gathering space in the lower areas. Play structures for children. With a few open fields and also a couple of built in barbecue pits. It's a Beautiful variety of trees and bushes for those who recognize different types and understand how many different trees and bushes aren't actually native to N. California. There's also a constant melody of birds singing and chirping, excellent for bird watching. The most amazing thing to see is the interaction of birds. From the tiny song birds to crows and hawks. I've been at the park when the chirping gets loud and aggressive. Then I hear frantic chirping and screeches, and all of a sudden there's silence. When I start to look around, I see a large hawk or a falcon circling slowly. Even landing in a large tree and bouncing across a few branches. I assume looking for a meal. Then a few small birds came and started getting at the big bird with loud screeching while flying directly at it, forcing it back in the air. Then circling it, taking dives at it from different angles in a coordinated attack. They were driving it higher up and further away from the area. But there's nice people hiking throughout the day. Bicyclers riding the trails and they seem to be coexisting well. And I've seen a couple of musical groups gather and practice where they have a large gazebo setup like a place to perform at the edge of a field. Overall a great park to visit for a picnic, hang and chill, hiking, bike riding and more. Thanks, -Bubble
  • I ll give five star it’s a awesome easy hike, u can make it longer as u wish. I also saw lot of bike riders. This trail is for bike horse and hiking
  • Dare I say this park is better hiking the Runyon in Los Angeles. Wildcat Canyon has everything and everyone along the trails are so nice and supportive. You be walking, seeing nothing but trees and then bam! A wonderful peaceful view or moooo over, cows! Happy hiking!
  • I love this park.. Great hiking trails and you don't have to walk far to really feel like your miles from the city.
