  • One of the livelier casinos left in Reno. Beverage servers are quicker than average unless it is a very slow day. (meaning not many customers) Wide selection of games and good dealers. The comps for u...  more »

  • This Casino is a lot of fun and filled with excitement. In addition, it seems like there is always something great to do in Reno, with the Italian Festival being at the top. Great food, terrific music...  more »

  • We love going to the Silver Legacy! We've been going since it opened. There is always something new and exciting to do and see depending on the time of year you go. The food at Sterling's Restaurant is wonderful. If you want a variety of different foods you need to go Flavors Buffet.
  • I remember when this place was brand spanking new. That can only mean one thing. I'm getting old! Nooooo! Well, that's life and there isn't much you can do about it. Still, this is a pretty neat casino and I remember when they had one of the largest arcades in the world. It was huge, but I guess video game arcades are no longer in fad like they once were, and it's now gone. Still, I remember waking up at the brink of dawn as a kid to hit the arcade up. Still, they still have the awesome dome that you can look at for minutes at a time. Minutes! Plenty of places to eat, and the casino floor is great overall. I haven't stayed here in a few years, but I'm sure the rooms are still fine. Just don't expect Vegas caliber rooms. Overall, I love this place and you should too!
  • Had fun, but wasn't blown away. The architecture and atmosphere was great, and the options of things to do were vast, drinks at most places we're reasonable and well made, but food was on average only marginal unfortunately. Most people walking around looked excited and pumped though even at 1 am, so definitely worth checking out and guaranteed fun, just not the full package is all.
  • The room still smelled like smoke. And someone needs to dust the bed boards. Everthing else it was good. The people ate pleasant and attentive. We asked for extra towels and they brought it right away. Thanks
  • We stayed here on a road trip and found it very clean and comfy. Our housekeeping staff did a fine job on very busy times and we were great full. Hotel has every convenience one could ask for, great gaming, fine dining, and a very helpful staff. Thanks for a great stay.

Where to stay in Reno

Since Reno's casinos want you to save your money for the blackjack table, they offer some very reasonable rates on their rooms. Even a stay in one of the amenity-rich resort- or spa-style casinos downtown can be quite affordable. Plenty of hotels, motels, inns, and lodges are scattered throughout town, though most lie in and around downtown. If you're planning to ski in the mountains west of town, staying near Interstate 80 can save a couple minutes on your commute. Accommodations in Reno generally remain easy to find, but the days before and after the popular Burning Man festival in the desert east of the city tend to see a bump in visitors. Consider booking ahead if your visit coincides with the festival.
