As a huge animal fan, I love seeing animals whenever I can, but zoos make me a little sad as the animals probably do not like being so confined. I read that this place keeps animals in natural habitat... read more »
I was bored and had nothing to do. Luckily, I found this place and thought it sounded right up my ally! I was right. I loved it here, so much. A huge variety of animals, from loose lizards to safely e... read more »

Of all the places we went on our trip to Reno this was the highlight! We loved our visit to Animal Ark!!! It is a nice walk and everyone working there was friendly. The animals were active and happy in nice environments. Each one has it's story posted about how and why it is at the ark. There were a few animals that we didn't see in the first loop so we decided to walk it again before we left. It was worth the extra trip around! Every animal that was asleep before was awake and moving around. There is also a nice play area for kids and a gift shop. If we go back to Reno we will visit again!!
I loved the stories each animal have. Renting the golfcar was really fun. It gave it a safari feel. Most of the animals were very far away so renting a car was a plus. The habitats seem to be clean and well kept. The location is deep in the desert so its easy to find wild animals like rabbits and quails. We saw very adorable quail families living among the trees.
Very good views of animals and a pleasant couple of hours learning about such a great cause! Highly recommended!
One of the only places where you can get up-close and personal with some of the big cats of the animal kingdom. The animals are well-taken care of and most will spend the rest of their lives here due to injuries that hinder them to survive in the wild. I can't wait to go back again when the bears are out of hibernation.
Animals in excellent condition, great place for families , Bears get food at 10 30 am , nice experience etc ....
