  • This place is great for kids. Really cool work they do and amazing animals. Way better than a zoo since they rescue animals.
  • We enjoy visiting the Animal Ark, and also hearing from them in newsletters. We are animal lovers and glad to know that folks still provide this type of shelter and care.
  • They were closed when we went out there. The drive is long and the web site didn't have any dates for being closed. Lots of people working there but still closed.

  • A very nice place. Nice staff, beautiful location and overall really nice place. We went here after pulling up to the other zoo and deciding it didn't look to great. Glad we made the choice to go the few miles down the road to Animal Arc.
  • I loved the stories each animal have. Renting the golfcar was really fun. It gave it a safari feel. Most of the animals were very far away so renting a car was a plus. The habitats seem to be clean and well kept. The location is deep in the desert so its easy to find wild animals like rabbits and quails. We saw very adorable quail families living among the trees.
  • Of all the places we went on our trip to Reno this was the highlight! We loved our visit to Animal Ark!!! It is a nice walk and everyone working there was friendly. The animals were active and happy in nice environments. Each one has it's story posted about how and why it is at the ark. There were a few animals that we didn't see in the first loop so we decided to walk it again before we left. It was worth the extra trip around! Every animal that was asleep before was awake and moving around. There is also a nice play area for kids and a gift shop. If we go back to Reno we will visit again!!
  • Animals in excellent condition, great place for families , Bears get food at 10 30 am , nice experience etc ....
  • Very nice and friendly staff. Most animals was sleeping do to heat and they was trying to stay cool. The black bear was out and active.
