Beautiful beach. Extremely clean. Had a great time during off season. A few people but we had beautiful weather (70s), and the boardwalk area was great. In the early morning, someone with a tractor sm... read more »
My family met up in Rehoboth Beach over Columbus Day weekend. I found Delaware a very uninteresting state; it is way too flat. It's a long drive down route 1 from I95 to Rehoboth. We went off-season s... read more »

It has a nice atmosphere. Like a small, cute and compact beach town. Seems very family friendly as well. The beach was nice. Alot of people were making sand castles and digging holes. Parking is absolutely terrible. Get a hotel near the beach or boardwalk or bring your bicycle.
Great beach but crowded. There are areas you cannot swim due to a structure in the water. Not the best marked and the life guards have to constantly whistle at people and move them over. They should position the lifeguard chairs more strategically. There is a good police presence on the boardwalk and they are very helpful and nice.
This is my first visit in about 12 years and the number of shops and restaurants has definitely grown significantly. I'm still enjoying the day here, I would recommend this beach to anyone who enjoys a nice lively atmosphere not secluded at all.
My family & I have been vacationing here for 34 years. It was bound to happen, but I'm sad to see what used to be a nice, quiet beach turn into a mini Ocean City. I still love Rehoboth and can't wait to go again next year. It's just not the same as it used to be.
Excellent beach albeit being overcrowded. However around 4PM, for whatever reason, people start leaving the beach. Basically they miss the best part and leave it for your enjoyment.
