  • Very quiet place to watch where pure water of San Francisco comes from , wide area of grass you can use to sit in a romantic atmosphere.
  • This the perfect place for a special event, weddings, and family get together. It's also very relaxing and the perfect weekend escape.

  • Beautiful Place to see and enjoy the peaceful surrounding. Grounds are very well maintained. Reflecting pool offers excellent backdrop to take pictures One should taste fresh Hetchy waters at the entrance. They are open till 4pm,and are closed during the weekends, unfortunately.
  • A great water stop if traversing La Canada Road on the weekend when the road is closed to motor vehicles. Water is from Hetch Hetchy Reservoir by Yosemite, on its way to SF.
  • The temple is a short walk from the parking lot. Peaceful place. The water from the fountain is sourced from the reservoir and is drinkable.
  • Beautiful place to visit. Great for photos.
  • In September, I visited the Pulgas Water Temple twice. The grounds are expansive and walkable. The pools make you feel you are returning to another time. Fittingly this was built in the 1930s during the WPA period. This is a Bay Area hidden treasure. I would suggest going there on the weekend. Walk the grounds and be amazed.
