Marymoor Park, located on the north end of Lake Sammamish in Redmond, Washington, is King County's largest, oldest, and most popular park, with more than 3 million annual visitors coming to roam its 640acre. Among recreational activities available are various sports facilities, rock climbing, a 40-acre off-leash dog park and a velodrome. It is also one end of the Sammamish River Trail, a biking and walking trail. In addition, a radio control aircraft flying field and a pet memorial garden are within the park's boundaries. The historic Willowmoor farm and Clise Mansion lie at the western edge of the park, along the Sammamish River. The farm and mansion were created in the early 1900s by James Clise, a banker. The landscaping was designed by the Olmsted Brothers. The mansion is on the National Register of Historic Places. The park is home to a summer concert series known as Concerts at Marymoor, produced by AEG Live, which invites popular artists every year.At the western end of the park, 2.1 acres are used by the Marymoor Community Gardener's Association, one of the oldest public gardens in the country. In February 2003, King County added a one dollar parking fee to offset budget reductions.

  • The dog park is my favourite place to take my dog, she loves it. Always busy with dogs on the weekend and lots of parking available for only $1 and a pay per use dog wash station. I've been to the beer festival there last year and it was great so returning again this year; parking for such a big event was well managed, I was impressed. I even went here to get my wedding photos done in the summer and they turned out great. I've stopped in to eat lunch on the picnic benches once, the park grounds are definitely well maintained. Always concerts and events going on like movies in the park. There's some nice play areas for kids too.
  • Awesome facilities here and some unique playground equipment. We spent time having fun on the playground and then checked out the soccer field which had a few old soccer balls ready to play with! The kids enjoyed scoring goals and kicking the ball around on the artificial turf, it added some fun to the game and it was nice that it wasn't super muddy like a grass field would have been. We want to check out the events here in the summertime. Great place to hang out with the family.
  • well loved park. lots of unique things to do here but you will rarely be secluded if that is what you are looking for. fee to park is $1. aside from the play fields the off leash dog area may be the most popular spot due to its size and the water areas.
  • By far the best dog park I have ever been to. Not just another small lot to stand around and watch your dog. This park is huge and a fun place to visit for both dogs and people. There's tons of wide open space for dogs to run, lots of swimming areas, and nice trails to enjoy.
  • Great park if you live on the Eastside. Really wish they didn't charge for parking. Only some machines take credit cards. There is a very nice dog park, concert venue, and softball fields. Probably more I'm missing as well.
